Helping share a brave woman's story.

I thought this was important enough to deserve it’s own post. If you haven’t heard by now that there was a woman in Libya yesterday named Eman al-Obeidy  who tried desperately to tell her story about being raped by 15 of Colonel Qaddafi’s men. She was quickly attacked covered and dragged away. They came back saying she was drunk and crazy (of course because they are ASSHOLES!). It is one of the bravest/saddest things I have ever seen and she tried so hard to get her story out I’m going to help her be heard however I can. “none of us are safe till we're all safe”

Here is a part part of the story from the NYtimes

“They say that we are all Libyans and we are one people,” said the woman, who gave her name as Eman al-Obeidy, barging in during breakfast at the hotel dining room. “But look at what the Qaddafi men did to me.” She displayed a broad bruise on her face, a large scar on her upper thigh, several narrow and deep scratch marks lower on her leg, and marks from binding around her hands and feet.
She said she had been raped by 15 men. “I was tied up, and they defecated and urinated on me,” she said. “They violated my honor.”

Here are some links to videos and stories. Please watch even though it's hard and share the world should know about this.
